Through mimicry, remediation, and unconventional applications, these artists push the limits of their materials and explore a corresponding sensuality. By employing a range of responsive processes, each artist engages in an unfolding dialogue between the self and the material – a transference between hand, form, and thought.
In this way, the artists in ‘NEW FINE ART, see their processes as both a method of inquiry to explore physical materiality as well as tools to realize unconscious and psychic visions.”
